Lindsey worked as an economist at the National Urban League, the NAACP, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and as a weapon systems research consultant for Analytic Services, Inc. Prior to joining the HU faculty in 1987, Dr. She has published in numerous economic journals and has provided expert testimony in Federal lawsuits alleging automobile credit discrimination. Lindsey’s research efforts have focused on consumer issues, mortgage lending discrimination, and automobile credit discrimination. She is dedicated to preparing students for the rigors of the business, finance, and economic world and in 2002 her students demonstrated their appreciation by selecting her as the “Professor of the Year’ in the School of business. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at Howard University’s School of Business, where she has taught Economics for many years. Hazel is currently a Senior Economist at the Food Safety and Inspection Service Agency at the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC.ĭr. Hazel’s commitment to higher education and community service is evident outside the Howard University community as she and her siblings annually fund the Elouise Rice Robinson Scholarship, established in memory of their mother. During Homecoming 2007, Hazel was recognized for her outstanding contributions to the University, as she became one of the first recipients of the HU College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Service Award. Hazel Robinson graduated with honors from Howard University, earning a BA in Economics 1979 and an MA in Economics 1986. He is married to fellow HU Economics alumnus, Dr. Hull has three children - Lovell, Randy and Cecelia. Among these is his most recent research on "Examining the Yield Differentials on Securitized Jumbo and Non-Jumbo Mortgages." Dr. His extensive research includes over 60 publications and technical reports. He has been called on to prepare written analyses and opinions on recommended incentive-based salaries, bonuses and stock option awards for new executive hires, as well as proposed termination benefit packages, including golden parachutes for released Executives. Hull allocates a significant portion of his time to providing financial and economic consulting services to the Federal Housing Finance Board on matters related to the Executive Compensation of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the 12 Federal Home Loan Banks. This latter tour of duty led to a Presidential Appointment as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Research at the U.S. He also served at the Congressional Research Service as Head of Money and Banking. ![]() ![]() and Fannie Mae and has been active in the area of management consulting. Hull has served as Senior Economist for the American Petroleum Institute, TRW Inc. While teaching in the HU School of Business, Professor Hull earned the distinction of MBA "Professor of the Year" for four of the five years of his full-time tenure. For more than 20 years, he served as Adjunct Professor in the HU Department of Economics. Everson Hull graduated in 1977 becoming Howard University's first-ever recipient of the Ph.D. ![]()
